This unfortunately prevents you from using over-ear headphones on the Vive, which is a bummer, but earbuds work just fine as does. Implementing the cushion adds support to the overhead strap and gives you a place to secure the wireless adapter. I was too embarrassed to tell anyone how much I paid for a cable.

What might be a problem in terms of comfort is the audio. You can't put it over the top of the linkbox, so have to either put it behind or in front of it. Smashbox Arena is also a pain in the arse and I have almost hung myself with the cable.

Couple of questions regarding Vive Wireless Adapter battery. I read reports of people trying other brands and it works fine but I can't take a chance. I can add extra battery when I try to place order for Wireless Adapter via htc online store, but when I remove the adapter the extra battery is gone from shopping cart as well, nor I can add additional batteries or able to order individual batteries. Any eta of battery availability or any way to order from Canada. Thanks I had the same problem with their site. I already ordered the wireless. Just get a bat on amazon. Way cheaper and if you want you can get one thats even bigger. I'd like like to point out that you can damage your device by using 3rd party batteries and that any verifiable damage incurred from using a 3rd party battery will void the Wireless Adapater's hardware warranty. What i'm reading here is: Vive product fails for no reason almost like the wireless adapters not working right now eh. Manufacturer blames 3rd party battery usage even if such usage can't be confirmed and is unrelated to the failure. Manufacturer vive wireless adapter to honor warranty. Might want to rethink that approach. I'm going to echo what others here are saying - Warranty voiding due to using a third party power source is a violation of federal law.

Installed in just minutes, the base adapter works with both Vive and Vive Pro. Is it worth a buy? It works better than I thought possible.
